Bringing back the magic of Glenn
During their time in England, they performed over 40 radio broadcasts and played over 80 concerts – one of which was very close to Fareham, at the headquarters of the Allied Naval Commander-in-Chief.
Tragically, Glenn Miller was announced to have died after the C-64 Norseman aircraft he boarded to France for a Christmas broadcast never reached its destination.

Hide AdThe current UK iteration of the much-adored band was put together in 1988 by musical entertainer, Ray McVay (best known as the musical director of the original Come Dancing series on the BBC) in association with Glenn Miller Productions.
The orchestra has kept the exact stage line-up of five saxophones, four trumpets, four trombones, three rhythm and a male and female vocalist.
The show includes songs from the likes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.
