Valkyries backs coach Alec Dyer recalled: ‘Everything Guildford tried went to hand and we made too many mistakes that were punished.
‘It was a great forwards battle last time and we will sorely miss Natasha Davidson, Jordan Wilshire and Megan Musgrave, who have all carried well this season.’
Becky Bowskill and Susan Badger are also missing on UKAF rugby league duties, but experienced centre Georgie Outhwaite returns.

‘At the sharp point of the season, the games are coming thick and fast,' added Dyer.
‘If we remain focused and committed it could be the difference between a mid-table or a top-three finish.’
