The spectacular images and video showcasing latest stage of Portsmouth's £15m Fratton Park overhaul

The investment into Fratton Park’s redevelopment has now broken through the £15m barrier.

And thanks to the work of local drone photography specialist Marcin Jedrysiak, we can now see exactly how the next stage of that work is coming on.

The new TV gantry on top of the South Stand is now taking shape, ahead of Pompey’s return to the Championship.

That has been captured by Marcin in his spectacular drone photo and video footage, with the 30-tonne crane central to the work now removed.

Also the required work on Fratton Park’s pitch is evident with ground staff on a tight timetable, with the crane needing to be in situ across the summer until this point.

Check out the fantastic gallery and video for some excellent insight, with Pompey fans not able to see the work in person until the curtain comes up on the season on August 10.
