It promises to be another summer of heavy recruitment for Pompey as they strive to bolster John Mousinho’s squad for the challenges of the Championship.
At the season’s end, 10 of the League One champions were released, among them first-team regulars Sean Raggett and Joe Rafferty.
However, of those remaining contracted players, the Blues may be tempted to let others depart during the summer transfer window, which opens on Friday.
That may be on loan or permanent, for development or surplus to requirements - the reasons can vary.
And here are six players we think who could be considered for summer moves from Fratton Park...

![While some fans may have written off the former West Ham man, the truth is injuries have dictated we are no closer to knowing his levels of ability.
After collecting a serious knee injury on his debut against Bristol Rovers, Scully attempted to play through the pain in subsequent matches, only to impact his performances, before admitting defeat.
Requiring knee surgery, he would total nine appearances - of which just four were starts - during a tremendously disappointing maiden campaign.
Crucially, he arrived at Fratton Park having featured 13 times in 2022-23, therefore totalling 22 outings over the last two seasons - a hugely worrying statistic.

![Expected to be back to full fitness this summer, clearly Scully has much to do to make up for another wasted year and force his way into the first-team frame, especially with Pompey having since stepped up a level.
With Pompey undoubtedly in the market for several new wing additions, it represents a tough challenge for the former Lincoln man.

![Of all Pompey’s transfer dealings last season, the Northern Ireland international was comfortably the most disappointing.
Although the majority of his appearances were off the bench, he was still handed 15 starts in all competitions and had the opportunity to impress following his arrival from Cardiff.
Considering his pedigree and having previously been in the Championship, Whyte was rightly regarded as last summer’s marquee signing and would be among the leading earners.
However, aside from a crucial cameo in the 1-0 win at Peterborough, the 28-year-old struggled to impress, although his attitude and work-rate could never be questioned and perhaps being unsettled without his family off the pitch should be taken into account.
