It’s been two months since Pompey confirmed their pathway back to the Championship for the first time in 12 years. An emphatic season saw the Blues secure 97 points as they won 28 of their 46 league fixtures.

However, it is now not long until they take on the second-tier competition, including the likes of Leeds, Burnley and Luton, all of which have enjoyed recent Premier League action. John Mousinho has begun to strengthen his squad ahead of the upcoming campaign and while only one acquisition has been made at present, the head coach has teased fans by suggesting it won’t be long until the new faces arrive in PO7.
