After being on the market for years, two Solent forts have both gone under the hammer today, securing a price tag of over £1m each.

Sat prominently in the Solent waters, No Man’s Fort and Spitbank Fort have been a talking point for years due to their unique location. The pair remained under the same ownership for 12 years and during that time they were meticulously restored as boutique retreats. They proved popular with people searching for weird and wonderful destination venues but they remained on the market for more than two years with original price tags of over £4m.
