The store, which is located in Mengham Road, will be closing its doors on June 28 for three weeks while it undergoes a refit in order to upgrade the fridges. This refit will help make the units more energy efficient.
A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: “Our Hayling Island store will be temporarily closed for a couple of weeks from the end of June for refurbishment. This will include upgrading the refrigeration units to be even more energy-efficient. We thank our customers for their patience while these works are carried out and look forward to welcoming them back soon.”
