Osborn Road car park: Watch: Fareham multi-storey car park reduced to rubble as site footage shows site transformed - when it will open

Demolition work at Fareham’s Osborn Road car park has seen the site reduced to rubble – to make way for a new “surface car park”.

As previously reported, work commenced at the site in January and the former multi-storey structure will be replaced with a new car park with larger parking spaces, including four electric vehicle charging points, with the capacity to add a further 12 if required.

Fareham Borough Council has said the new carpark will be open in time for the first big performances at Fareham Live in 2024 and will improve access across the town centre.

Fareham Live will be complete and ready to welcome customers in September of this year and tickets are now on sale for the newly launched programme for the season.
