Gaffer for a Day, Will Hahn, aged 49 from Waterlooville, assesses Pompey’s 2-0 win at Gillingham...

So Will, did you enjoy that?

Well I did, except I missed the two goals because of iFollow.

Normally I cast it from the laptop to the television, but it was buffering after the opening five minutes.

So I tried to watch on my phone, which was a small picture, and attempted to connect to another laptop, which then went a bit wonky.

Everything was okay after that, though!

Mind you, I have watched every game on iFollow this season. As someone who is currently unemployed, I have to ask whether I keep wanting to spend £10 each time.

Okay, from what you saw what did you make of that?

It was a vast improvement on Saturday, we looked like we wanted it and were positive going forward.

You could see the energy, the team wanted to play for each other, and it should have been a few more goals to make the game a bit easier.

Whether you are pro-Jackett or anti-Jackett, at some point the players are going to realise they are out of contract at the season’s end and will need to prove something.

It’s all very well the manager getting stick, but at some point the players need to step up and play for themselves.

Good to see John Marquis get off the mark in League One this season.

I rate him, but he has not been suited to the position he is playing. He wants to run off the shoulder, not hold the line.
