ONE man has been charged and two others have been released on bail after police were called to reports of a disturbance at an address on Stockheath Road, Leigh Park.

Arrests were made after three men tried to force entry to the house on April 25, leaving a woman assaulted in the process.

A 18-year-old man and a 52-year-old man, both from Havant, have now been released on police bail.

Kieran Alan Newman, 21, of Bondfields Crescent in Leigh Park, has been charged and remanded with burglary, criminal damage, and threats to kill.

He is due to appear before Portsmouth Magistrates Court on May 24.
