Pompey fans on social media have been sharing their views on today’s 3-2 defeat at Ipswich.

The Blues came from behind twice to level the score at Portman Road thanks to a Colby Bishop double.

However, they were unable to repeat that trick again as the Tractor Boys scored a decisive third 10 minutes from time.

The defeat ended the Blues’ unbeaten start to League One and sees them drop to fourth in table with a game in hand on those above them.

And while some fans have begun to question the squad’s depth in the immediate aftermath of defeat, many others are remaining optimistic.

Here’s a selection of the views shared...

@Parky1985: One defeat in 10 is a great start to the season, win game in hand and we're a point off top. Up Ze Blues.

@Jamesr02_: Unbeaten run wasn’t something that could last forever.

Hurts the way we went but we let ourselves play a side that would punish any mistake we made.

Pick ourselves back up, there’s still 36 games to go.

@MikePompey: Gotta feel really sorry for Mingi.

His chance to get some decent minutes today and Tunnicliffe not had any involvement this season get's ahead of him.

I don't think he'll be to happy today, unless he has a knock.

@PropPersonnel: No disgrace there as we lose our undefeated record to the league favourites.

I'll take that, only losing our first league game in October. Play up Pompey.

@fireupthearcade: Not our day today. Not season defining by any means, lots of football to be played, lots of twists and turns.

Stay positive #pompey fans!

@RoryJones_: Cowley needs to play Ogilvie or Robertson.

The balance of the team needs to be restored.

Morrison needs to screw his loaf on and Griffiths needs to start commanding more.

The back 5 have been poor today sadly. We go again… #pompey

@mark11s: Lowery cant get back quickly enough. Morrell and Tunnicliffe aren't up to it alongside Pack.

@James_Robbins28: Can't concede three goals like that against the best team in the league and get anything out of it.

We looked like a team slightly off it following a break, players coming back for next Saturday so still plenty of reasons to be optimistic.

@PompeyDurham: Was not too disappointed with that result, squad depth told in the end.

Incidentally, I didn’t realise Ipswich won the league today, who knew?
