Police at ‘industrial incident’ at property near Wickham

Police have cordoned off a property off a busy road after an ‘industrial incident’.

Three police vehicles were seen at a hay bale yard opposite the property, with a HGV lorry behind the police cordon.

A heavy haulage company is listed as operating from the site at The Dell Cottage, off Winchester Road, Shedfield, just north of Wickham.

Police officers remain at the scene.

A Hampshire police spokesman said: ‘We have received a report of an industrial incident at an address in Winchester Road, Shedfield, at 1.12pm on Sunday, September 13.

‘Officers are at the scene carrying out enquiries.’
