Midfielder close to sealing Pompey stay
Talks are continuing over extending the midfielder’s Fratton Park stay.
The former Oxford United man, who is currently sidelined with a broken leg, is out of contract in the summer but is keen to remain.

Hide AdLikewise, Blues boss Kenny Jackett wants to keep Rose, especially with his absence so sorely felt since the turn of the year.
Rose and his representatives have been negotiating with the Blues since December and he believes they are nearing agreement.
He added: ‘It’s pretty close. Being away for a week recently, I’ve not spoken to anyone for a little while.
‘But now I’m back I’m sure we’ll talk and get the final pieces sorted.’
