Dog walker finds body in Portsmouth

Police were called at 8.26am by a dog walker who discovered the body of the man in what is known locally as Foxes Forest.
Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed the dead man was in his 40s and the incident is not being treated as suspicious.

Hide AdA spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘We were called at 8.26am to a concern of welfare.
‘The man was in his 40s and we are not treating it as suspicious.’
The dog walker who discovered the man has offered his condolences to the family involved.
He said: ‘I would like to pay my respect to the guy I found this morning.
‘My thoughts are with his family at this time.’
