Portsmouth boss Kenny Jackett provides injury update on keeper Alex Bass

Pompey boss Kenny Jackett has confirmed he’s hoping to have goalkeeper Alex Bass back in training by the end of this week.

The Blues stopper was forced to watch on from the stands as a foot injury kept him out of the 4-0 friendly win over Gosport at Privett Park on Tuesday evening.

Bass sustained the knock on what proved to be an afternoon to forget for him in the Carabao Cup first round penalties win at Stevenage last weekend.
